To stick at it for 13 years is some achievement in this day and age.

Wonder how many managers he's seen in that time?!

This is why we as fans have got to be patient, supportive etc. As (JFH I think, maybe Lee Hoos, I dunno...) said recently, it can be really demoralising for young players when there's people screaming at them just because they misplaced a pass.

Delighted for him.

Cool story. To be a one man club by 19 is a rare thing indeed!

Agree 100%.

It's far tougher to work through the academy system than most people appreciate. It's dog eat dog so an achievement in itself to make the breakthrough to the first team. But they are young boys and nothing can prepare them for a hostile home crowd, so they need to be cut a fair bit of slack if necessary.

He is overdue a testimonial!

OMG! SIX years old!

Hope he makes it here as he probably knows little else apart from QPR!

Incidentally, does anyone know how big he is as I appreciate he is still growing but no height and weight available on the offy or wiki. Just wondering if size is why JFH is playing him midfield or maybe it is confidence building by making any mistakes less critical. I always thought we should have tried this with Furlong.

Good luck and happy birthday tomorrow!

Good lad. One thing they are obviously encouraging in the youth set-up is the old reverse backheel dragback/nutmeg. Kakay and Shodipo must have tried it 4 or 5 times between them last night.
