LEGO 07:41 - Aug 25 with 4276 views | exiled_dictator | unlike dagenham, i am (still) in my 40's, but a very young, childlike 40's man. being the youngest brother, i always looked upto my older siblings and almost feel that i grew up too soon. but i am now starting to relive my lost childhood, collecting items others think are 'childish'. like lego. or more specifically, lego technic models. this week my porsche 911 gt3rs arrived, in all its lovely orangeness. now built, it takes centre stage in my ever growing collection, that i am happy to state has NO star bores creatures, characters or vehicles. keep it real, bruv. http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Porsche-911-GT3-RS-42056?fromListing=listing it may be considered childish to still play with plastic bricks, but the box says 16+ on the side of it, and some of the pictures are quite hard to follow. plus its a little more socially acceptable than watching paedophilic porn.

still cheaper than jose bosingwa, and guaranteed to provide hours of pleasure. the lego, not boswakna. incredibly intricate and fiddly, and definitely a better defender. and they are widely available for less than 250 kwid. cheaper than prostitutes.

LEGO on 08:14 - Aug 25 with 4227 views | kingsburyR | Never knew Lego could command such a price.....but I was used to the old "standard" block. My older girl (6) is getting into it now. Its changed a lot since the old days! (70's/80's)

some lego sets can sell for thousands. an original millennium falcon can cost you upwards of 7000 pounds!!! but like i said, i don't do star bores. even simple kids sets can be quite pricey.

The old Porsche is demanding a high price on all fronts it seems. I'd still prefer a 911 though. Pipe dream though, I'll stick to my 11 year old Mazda for now and it's dash board with warning lights lit up like a christmas tree.
LEGO on 10:38 - Aug 25 with 4112 views | loftboy | Until my marriage breakup I was a Lego king, something therapeutic and satisfying when the last brick gets put into place.

LEGO on 11:09 - Aug 25 with 4084 views | Aitch | I've encouraged all my kids to like Lego. Obviously because of the problem solving and building skills and absolutely nothing to do with me being a big kid. A lot of the sets are damn expensive though. Especially when they can be completely buggered by the loss of a crucial piece or two up the Hoover.

LEGO on 23:46 - Aug 25 by Toast_R | Wow that is a blast from the past. My brother and I had that very same pack of trumps. If I remember correctly Thor could beat Death on Strength with 100. Love to get these again [Post edited 25 Aug 2016 23:47]

They do models of simple kids! Christ what levels do these toy companies stoop to? With a seven year old boy I now get loads of opportunities to partake in the construction industry, last Christmas we found in Smyths Toys there own Lego version of the Titanic, which my boy is obsessed about. It is a fantastic replica.

LEGO on 17:21 - Aug 26 by Match82 | Hang on, death has killing power of 95? Is this suggesting that death doesn't necessarily cause death? Good to know. On the original topic, I love Lego. We had a Lego themed wedding. |
immortals I guess also got to remember the likes of

LEGO on 07:17 - Aug 27 with 3465 views | BerkoRanger | I'm 65 soon and have just started collecting remastered versions of all the 60s and 70s classic CDs I used to like eg Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Genesis etc. They do say that as you get older, you regress back to childhood! As far as Lego is concerned, I have been in some Lego stores and the new models are certainly aimed at adults and are amazing. Some of the latest ones have smooth finishes to them so look incredibly realistic. As an aside, I can recommend the Lego movie from a couple of years ago - a very clever story line.
