Didn't put a foot wrong while he was here. I'd be well happy to take on a properly talented footballer with something to prove.
The nice thing is, we're protected by our new wage structure, we now know that a player isn't going to sign with us for the money, so that play will have another motivation and may buy into what Les and Jimmy are offering. If he decides to join another club for more money, then our system works, and we dodge a bullet. It can't always work like that, when we're knocking around the top of the EPL, and chasing the champions league then you start to pay whatever it's going to take.
For now though, I'm happy for that layer of protection. |  |

Apart from some of the goals he scored in the promotion season I remember the fantastic disciplined defensive job he did in the playoff game against Wigan at LR when he came on .
Also he celebrated like a good un on the pitch at Wembley after the disappointment of being left out .
