Poll: Moses Odubajo - Stick or Twist?

Rebah rebah Anderlecht!

Never knowingly right.
Poll: How long before new signings become quivering wrecks of the players they were?

Watching the clip I think we have a huge problem with this guy. He relies on crosses and service from the wings. We don't have anyone who crosses to forwards, that actually plays in games.

Pronounced

I think we should hold him back. Put Conor on in the 92nd minute, withdraw him after the 93rd minute and put this chap on to shake hands with the officials at the end.

Never knowingly right.

Can he take penalties?

You make him sound like a lump target man. From the videos available it seems clear that while he can head it he also runs the channels, like Polter does.

For £1.5m he looks a decent investment and more or less just what we need. Some strikers signed from his level have really taken to English football - Diafra Sakho for instance.

Let's see if he gets a work permit first though.

He has a powerfully understated highlights video, which I like in a highlights video and also in a player.

Also I have more faith about Jimmy Floyd Hasselblatt buying forwards than I would with a lot of other managers because a) Jimmy was a forward and still knows a lot about forwarding, b) Jimmy can infuse this Silla Black geyser with his own brand of Dutch Sexual Aggression tactics thus turning him into a galactico-priced starlet overnight, and 3) Jimmy isn't Mark Hughes so any forwards that that Alysa out of Home and Away kunt may have bought among the 93,000 players he and his agent bought don't count.

From the videos looks like a big lad who will back up Polter which is exactly what we need.

Couple of wingers to actually cross the ball to the poor sods every now and then and we're sorted

Likewise. I was watching it at 1.30 in the morning here and in that fleeting moment I thought the gods were smiling on us and we would stay up. Of course, we know the rest.

Ah well, being an R has never been dull.

'being an R has never been dull'

You clearly didn't go the Preston match then.

The flaw in your argument there is the use of the word 'wingers' and possibly the end of sentence that would be 'that can cross' :)

You've just reminded of that goal against Wigan. One of the best feelings I've ever had at a football match.

Really?

I once took this girl who was a spurs fan to see Spurs v Nottingham forest. Stood on a packed shelf with her standing on the same step in front of me, most erotic game of football I've been to.

It was the game just after Shilton had been done for kerb crawling or something equally disgusting and distasteful.

I don't remember the score or her name but she had a lovely bottom

captains fantastic

A lot of people feel this way about that goal. And it was one of the most sumptuous goals you'll ever see.
And I went bonkers.
But, even before the equaliser, I knew it was far too little too late - it still needed a ridiculous last few games for us to stay up didn't it? Really surprises me that so many people see that game as pivotal - and i thought i was glass half full!

Bare bones.

Looks like he plays a bit like Polter in those clips, which is handy!

Hope we can sign him up and get him settled and integrated to the team quickly.

A combo of the escape the season before and there was actually some momentum building up at that time, certainly some improved performances despite throwing some of the matches away such as at Villa and Fulham. I reckon the escape was on had they held on for the win against Wigan. That free kick just completely zapped everything though.
It was one of the worst lows I've felt leaving a football match - almost like winning 50K on a scratch card and then realising it has fallen out of a hole in your pocket.

In actaul fact Mbia gave away a series of free kicks near the end of that game. It seemed inevitable they would score with one in the end. Horrible moment though.

...and yet it was also Mbia who set up the goal for Remy with a swift break and perfect pass. Ups and downs of football summed up in those 3 or 4 minutes.
