I do wonder if this injury and the obvious extent of it, will mean he may never be quite the same player. He was all about the running full pelt, hassling and chasing lost causes. All a massive strain on the muscles.
Will he adapt his game, I'm not sure he could?

Good stat that because without it it would be easy to file Mackies return as an ill concieved one because, like the poster before I assumed (incorrectly) that he had been injured a lot in the previous two seasons.
As mentioned elsewhere though, due to the time out with this injury and bearing in mind his "game" it doesn't bode well for a promising return, should he even be able to make the starting 11.

Without wishing to be controversial or start up the Ferdinand bashing again but do DoF normally sit in the team photo? Not that I have a big problem with it but just thought it was a bit odd. Or is this just the norm now. I stopped collecting Panini stickers and football posters years ago so maybe I'm out of the loop.
