Nothing to do with the media not liking QPR. I really don't think anyone in the media cares one way or the other about QPR as an entity. We keep finding ourselves in these stories because people at the club keep getting the club in these situations. | | | |

What amazes me is that anybody can be surprised that there is a huge amount of corruption in football. An entirely unregulated industry, with literally billions of pounds sloshing around, it would be amazing if there wasn't. When you add on top of that the number of extremely unsavoury characters in the game it's a certainty. Then when you take into account the low level of intelligence of the majority of people involved in the game and the greed as well, the whole industry is an easy target to be set up by a few clever journalists. Like shooting fish in a barrel, amazing it hasn't been done a long time ago. |  | | |

Maybeit's only a matter of time now until football is regulated, in law, legislated in Parliament. Awful thought but anything is better than this turgid, 2 bob shyte we are served up. Sky have been allowed to kill the English game for international subscriptions.
England have gone, I dont think the national side can recover from this. We haven't got the layers, certainly no leadership, and David Davies of all people yesterday was calling for wholesale clear outs at the FA as though he'd never had any responsibility. The games becoming a joke, unrecogniseable.
I dont think the media hate us, they have there favourites and we're not one of them, it's a bit like fawning reporters on the Royals, so am glad on that one. |  | | |

But why would you think that? You think "the media" is run by angry Brentford fans? Why would anyone care that it's QPR? Do you really think the editor of the Telegraph said to the investigative team: "Great, yo've got Allardyce sorted. But I'm not running anything until you get QPR."
QPR does not matter to the media. Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs matter, not because editors and writers love them, but because they have lots of supporters so people read stories about them. We do not have lots of supporters, so people don't read stories about us. Except when, as happens with disturbing frequency, people at the club do something so stupid it can't help but be a story. | | | |
