The late match thread 11:21 - Dec 10 with 14871 viewskensalriser

Enthusiasm for early match threads seems to have waned somewhat.

No predictions from me, anything can happen with Holloway's QPR. Could be 5-0 either way. Or 0-0.

I'll be out all day so behave yourselves.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Enthusiasm? What is this thing enthusiasm you speak of?

Lot of injuries today. Team selection is far from straightforward.

Unless we hit the goal jackpot today, we are not going to be satisfied.
However, three points are needed so a 1-0 win will do

A 1-0 win would be lovely.

Under my proposed new scoring system in the other thread, it'll be 37-24 to us.

True! And half of the players will be sent off for two yellows for whining to the ref and the other half retrospectively banned for diving.

We should be dusting off our boots - numbers dictate that we'll be getting the call soon!

I think we'll see a switch to a back 4 today as Caulker and Perch are unavailable.

Injuries permitting, I expect we'll end up with:

Smithies
Ned, Hall, Lynch, Bidwell
Henry, Luongo
Shodipo, Chery, Hai Karate (or Washington)
Sylla

I'm not filled with enthusiasm about that line-up but I would hope we could get something against Rotherham

A lot of pressure on the players to win this game. If we don't get at least a point I'll start getting worried about the combination of Ollie and our players.
Going for 1-2

Can't remember if it was Posh or Brum, but Barry Fry once pi55ed in all corners of the ground to lift a gypsy curse. If LF did that and we went on a roll then he might get cut some slack...

"I'd rather ham than Rotherham" as the Reynolds Girls nearly sang. I'm sensing we share the goals in a 0-0 thriller though the irrational part of my brain likes the sound of a 3-1 ... Cilla Wash and an O.G.

Are you all sure theres a game on today, after all it is Saturday afternoon

Going to watch Rillington Place which will be far more entertaining than a grey miserable afternoon in Rotherham

As always, the closer we get to kick off, the more I think: 'we could get a WIN out of this one!'

I am normally crushed under the weight of my own unrealistic expectations fairly quickly.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

As its Rotherham, Ollie has told our players to arrive at the game dressed like this so they don't stand out from the locals

It may be the residual Damage of the coca plant in the wilderness years 1989 to 2009 , but i think it looks a decent side with a good bench .
