I'm in as good a mood as the next man after turning over the fakes last week, and 3 league wins on the bounce has convinced me my vague scepticism about Holloway's return might have been misplaced...
BUT
If this did happen to be true, I'd be scratching my increasingly threadbare scalp. We know we've had too many non-specific wide-ish/Number 10-ish/not quite strikers on the books, and the manager knows it too, because he's said so publicly. So Chery goes and Gladwin and probably El Khayati too, and then we go straight after LuaLua, Freeman and Morrison? If true, it's all a bit beyond my admittedly puny grasp of things. (And didn't Danny Ward usually play wide until this season too?)
All that said, my understanding is that Les has long been keen to bring Morrison back to the club, but in the past Hasselbaink's lack of enthusiasm put paid to it. Personally, it's one of the few times I'd have said Jimmy Jimmy had it right. [Post edited 16 Jan 2017 17:18]

Not sure every rangers fan wants the spark thing. Had all the spark needed from pavel and the rest of the team against the fakes. Not sure where Morrison who has been bombed out of every club he has ever been at fits in. Seems like an upgrade on JET, potentially great but somehow consistently underachieving wherever he washes up. |  |

Do we know for certain he would be disruptive? His behaviour was faultless as far as i'm aware when he was here previously, and he's a more talented player than anybody else in the Championship.
