Your Top 10, in Order, Favourite Rs of all Time 11:36 - Feb 24 with 5316 viewsAntti_Heinola

Was lying awake last night unable to get to sleep, so to keep myself even more awake I decided to rank my top 10 QPR players of all time.

I haven't included anyone I didn't see play, otherwise Rod, Stan and Gerry (in their pre-Rainbow days) would obviously be in there... Be ruthless. No subs, no 'bubbling unders', in order, please...

10. Gareth Ainsworth
9. Paul Furlong
8. Trevor Sinclair
7. Kevin Gallen
6. Alan McDonald
5. Adel Taarabt
4. Danny Shittu
3. Ale Faurlin
2. Lee Cook
1. Danny Maddix

5 of mine from Ollie's previous side he built! That's probably a bit lopsided, but still... so many faves from that era!

Bare bones.

Im going on players I loved seeing play

1- Paul Parker
2- Les
3 - Adel
4- Wilkins
5-Fenwick
6-Bannister
7- Falco
8- Shittu
9- Cook
10- Faurlin

Sinton misses out due to the way he left us, Sinclair I liked watching but his last season at rangers was awful and I find it hard to like him now he stuck up for Barton

Wegerle , Byrne, Wilson , Bardsley & Macca would be subs

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

10. Andy Sinton
9. Clint Hill
8. Gino Padula
7. Lee Cook
6. Danny S hittu
5. Alan McDonald
4. Kevin Gallen
3. Les Ferdinand
2. Ale Faurlin
1. Trevor Sinclair

I still have the Compaq kit with Sinclair on the back. World-class overhead kick aside, he was just a brilliant player to watch. Even played World Cup football - we haven't had many like that over the years.

Ale was a gentleman through and through. Even injured, he still played his part to the full. When he did play, he was the best player on the pitch.

Sir Les? What can I say? Just brilliant. Too hot to handle for any centre back. Pace, power and a great leap to win headers against just about anybody. Pity he didn't get more games for England.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

I started watching around 1992 as a 6yr old so most, if not all the players are either from the Gerry Francis team or the Ian Holloway team.

1.Ferdinand
2.Ainsworth
3.Faurlin
4.Shittu
5.Cook
6.Gallen
7.Rowlands
8.Sinton
9.Bardsley
10.McDonald

In fact I think only Faurlin made it from outside those two managers squads although Hill and Derry weren't far off.

I just put Gaz in instead. Maybe he should be there, and probably higher.
A year before he left we played West Ham at home 0-0 I think. I got his autograph in the paddocks and asked if he was staying. He said yes. and he did. So maybe I should have him in! Always loved him, but guess i just connected to the others more?

Bare bones.

Interesting that nobody has Charlie Austin in there. I didn't either but would be interesting to know other people's reasons.

Austin was about the 12th name I wrote down, so he was up for consideration but didn't quite make the top 10.
