The preston player went in to hurt him. Harsh decision considering i've watched it over and over and i still cant work out if Freeman meant to stand on his leg. Its almost as if the ref saw that the Preston player went in hard so assumed Freeman would react. [Post edited 25 Feb 2017 21:06]

I get it, it happens but Freeman had a slight rush of blood and got caught in the act. He'll serve his ban, he'll learn from it, we move on. | | | |

Its the Preston player who leaves his foot in. Freeman has his back to the Preston player but then turns to kick the ball back down the line when the tackle came in. The ball then bounces off the Preston player and Freeman turns to get the ball but the Preston player is leaving his legs in flying about trying to stop him. I think its a harsh one to be sent off for. | |

Only seen video but pretty much as I saw it.
Why IH is saying it should be a red and therefore a 3 match ban rather than one is beyond me.
He did make contact with PNE player so very little chance of an appeal against red succeeding IMHO. | | | |
