Evil Les strikes again. When will they give us our Rangers back?! When, I ask you?

I think its still a secret but Dave Mac has named Penrice and Kevin Reeves in WLS. Nothing much about it on the Offish.

Holloway was on the Football League podcast this week and said the thing he's concentrating on now is the scouting as that's the best way he can add what he needs and still balance the books. I'm sure it will be announced in due course and based on what Ollie said about Freeman we're already making use of Penrice so the 'delay' in announcing doesn't seem to matter.

With bit of luck he'll find a decent manager

Good news.

His title is Recruitment Consultant, rather than Scout or Chief Scout. Interesting.

For pure sh1ts and giggle, let's get Devon White back as 'Impact Sub Coach' then.

Confuse and enrage the Anti-Nazi brigade and Bristol conspiracists together! Doubly so if we harness the unseen talents of Aaron Brown as well.

When Holloway was here before many slated him for employing his mates like Penrice and Breacker and that we needed different people. 10 years on Penrice is now the messiah

To be fair it looks like he's been busy in those 10 years. His CV looks bloody good!

I get DaveB's point, but you're right, Clive - his CV is damn good.

It seems to suggest that he is freelance and not an employee .of the club So he may be able to work for several clubs, possibly in different countries, simultaneously. Taking this a speculative step further he could be paid his fees on a 'results' basis.

I was wondering the same, pure speculation on my part. Maybe he just fancied a posher title for his CV or maybe as a consultant he is, as you say, on a fees and/or incentives package e.g. percentage of profit made on player bought on his recommendation and later sold.

No big thing, I trust Hoos to get it right. But interesting to speculate all the same.

I'm not knocking him, I thought he did quite well last time but just pointing out he was getting slated by QPR fans when he was here before. I hope he does well

What kind of world do we live in? When a grown man can't get excited about the news that his football team have just appointed a new recruitment consultant?!
