Really want the lying twt to take Brum down. Here's hoping Villa get a result today and that Blackburn get a few wins.

Sexy Asian dwarves wanted.

FT 1-0

Effectively Brum have to now get at least four points from six to relegate us due to their much worse goal difference.

I also find myself liking Redknapp a bit more after today.

Yeah, but that's easier starting from a low base.

An extremely low base. Think Mariana Trench.

He didn't sign a contract,so he can hobble away after taking another club down.
Unless he resigns in injury time in the last game so that it won't be his fault.

Only worry now is will Villa go on holiday against Blackburn, this was a derby match so not surprised they wanted to win

Birmingham have Hudds at home next but they got thrashed against Fulham yesterday.

Still feel it will be Blackburn going down.

Let's hope Huddersfield do us a favour and beat them at St. Andrews next week. If they don't I have a feeling that nothing less than beating Forest will be enough, and I don't think we will beat them.

We only really need a draw v NF unless you think Blackburn will win both their games

I think they will beat Villa at home. Then they have Brentford away, who I think would be very happy to see us relegated. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if they get 6 points.

The Birmingham / Huddersfield game will go a long way to deciding which league we are in next season imo.

Redsnappers comments after the game;

Birmingham manager Harry Redknapp: "They've not had a shot in the second half - apart from the goal. It's the only one they've had.

"You can't say Villa were good. If that's the best they can do, Steve's clearly got a lot of work to do.

(fundamental theorem of calculus)

"They (Birmingham under Gianfranco Zola) had won two out of 24. When you look at that record, it scares you to death. Confidence has been low but the lads showed good attitude and responded well.

The knee joint is the largest and most complex and therefore the most stressed joint in the body.

"We could not have worked any harder. We just didn't get the break. It won't be easy against Huddersfield, but we've got every chance if we keep playing like that."

Huddersfield seem to have gone to pot lately. It wouldn't suprise me if that was a goalless draw though.

Not sure why people expect Blackburn to suddenly win their last two games (Villa and Brentford - not the easiest games they could have chosen). They're not exactly on a roll at the moment (one win in ten).

Weirdly, a draw could be a worse result for us than a Birmingham win. It would mean they would go to Bristol City on the last day with City safe (bar an 8 goal swing) so nothing really to play for (assuming they get nothing at Brighton next week, who are likely to be looking to clinch the title on their own ground). Could really do with Huddersfield losing at Wolves and going to St. Andrews needing a win make sure of the top 6.
