My wife and I were in town a few days after we found out we were pregnant. I was in the city centre of Peterborough and a fellow QPR fan told me sadly that Ray Jones had passed away the night before and our game against Burnley was called off.
I was devestated as I saw his first substitute apparence the year or so before and thought this kid is a decent prospect and the goals with Blackstock he scored especially the goal against Southampton I thought of no better tribute than to name my son Raymond.
He also had a teddy I never nicknamed Mr Jones.
2 and a half years later my ugly (at the time, now beautiful) baby girl was being born for 22 hours and after threats of being born in the hospital with an ambulance being called to our home my daughter was born 1 minute passed midnight on the 28th August 2010.
Called her Robyn so I can shout at them when they are older to say "Come on you R's"
