Would people please remember that the lad was brought in as a U23 project.

As he was given a run out at the end of the season, some seem to think he could/should be a starter or at least a strong squad member.

He's not at that stage yet, and trying to push him forward as such is likely to be detrimental to his development.

Or alternatively you could say if he’s good enough he’s old enough!

Age isn't the criteria.
Hardly playing for the last 2 seasons, due to injury, is.

Absolutely needs time to settle in, but if we don't bring in another striker is would be nice to see him and Oteh share the back up duties plus the obligatory game against Plymouth

I think it would be nice to see Ramkilde and Oteh get a few chances. Oteh really needs to show he's got something at this level. Ramkilde just needs minutes on the pitch to show what he has.

Never knowingly right.

Agree mate. We’re also one of those teams that gets goals from several different positions so not as reliant on prolific centre forwards.

Do honestly think as soon as we sign a second striker, Oteh is out of the door. Don't think he's ultimately reaching championship level

I agree, thought it was telling that when Hugill got injured Warburton pushed Bright up front rather than putting Oteh on.

He looked promising against Leeds in the FA cup, but has failed to impress since then

I dont think its worth writing him off yet, though he hasnt really shown any attributes in his first team appearances (other than work rate). Young strikers are really really tricky... all it takes is a few scratchy goals and he suddenly may fidn the confidence to become a useful player

Seeing as we are going to be an ultra attacking force with a stronger defence in place and Lumley fulfilling his potential, we will be a different team for oteh to fit into.

If the team is playing well, full of confidence then younger players like Oteh should thrive.

We do get goals from all over the pitch but the end of last season showed us that we can look toothless without some kind of threat or focal point up front. We were at our best last season with either Wells or Hugill as striker no question.

Agree with that. For all his faults, Hugill was great at linking the play to get us moving forward. Wells’ diagonals were pretty good too.

Not only has Oteh not showed anything for us but he didn't show much when on loan.
