Just back. About 100 there spread about.
Our best two players were our wing backs. Drew being one of them. Seen him twice now and he stands out. Vocal as well.
Shocking miss from the Johansen look a like from what looked like a couple of yards out.
Owens was ok, the two centre mids that partnered him were poor though.
Kelman took the goal well, but didn't do much else and the big centre forward.....Its only one game but his touch is shocking and he doesn't boss the centre halves like he should do for his size. |  |

I know one of the Hampton players and he said it was an absolute fluke. Tried to trap it and somehow smuggled the ball into a goal scoring position. |  | | |

Just googled the Blackburn squad and you're right they're quite a young squad, mainly 18-20 years old.
Interestingly they're a category one academy, which means they can hoover up players from Premier League academies more easily than we can.
They've recently got a few players into the first team squad as well, including Lewis Travis and Ryan Nyambe, so they're no mugs.
Incidentally managed by Mike Sheron.
Really like the fact that the U23s are being taken seriously: Warbs, Ferdinand, Belks (head of recruitment) and Chris Ramsey all watching. Must be a great boost for the young players. |  | | |

Cheers - so basically B players are 1st teamers with under 23s .
Really think club are missing out not entering the London and Middlesex cups would give those players competitive football meaning much more | |
