Awful news on the Offish
Willock out for the season and poor old Marshall too.
Let’s hope for a few good results against the odds and prepare for August.
One good thing..We won’t lose our best asset during the summer.

Depends on the severity of the tear whether it's a grade two or three. Grade two is a partial tear, three a full rupture. If it's a grade three and I'm presuming as it needs surgery it is, that will be a minimum three months. If we're lucky he might be back for pre-season.

Still March, even with surgery, should be fit to resume training in June. A big blow to our run in. Villa were lucky three years ago, despite Grealish being fouled all the time he missed very little time

will be interesting to see what we do now. When Chair was away we went quite pragmatic and used 2 strikers rather than an extra number 10. If Dykes is fit I can see us going back to this and rotating between the 3 of them. I'd like to see us make a change to how we play and go a bit more direct for the forwards., I think Dykes in particular would benefit from more crosses and more importantly earlier deliveries into the box.

I'd go a midfield 3 of Field, Johansen and Amos, i think thats probably our best 3 at the moment if they are all fit

The club doctor said; “Chris suffered a high-grade tendon tear in his right hamstring. We sought the opinion of two specialists who both advised surgery was necessary." So if three months is needed before he can play again, he should just make preseason.

4 wins 4 draws get us to 75 points so not impossible but all the same very hard given the tough run in. 3 home games 5 away games given home form having more away games may help…yes being optimistic here. Can only try and out as many points as possible and see where we end up.

Terrible news for the both of them and us

I have a couple of ashamed fans on my QPR WhatsApp group, who called out Marshall for coming off. I really hope he didn't do any extra damage in ACTUALLY STAYING ON THE PITCH FOR US

Poll: Why are you a QPR supporter?

I would think he did injure it more seriously by staying on. I think the great save he made which led to the corner which ultimately their second was scored from was the crucial moment. I think if he had come off straight away when he tweaked it he may only have been out a couple of weeks.

I'm sure Warbs is regretting not sticking Wallace in goal for the last ten minutes but easy to say in hindsight. We'd still have had to have signed Westwood to play in goal Sunday though.

Poll: Which is the worst QPR team?

One thing that I think is with pointing out - surely if we'd signed another player in January we wouldn't have been able to bring in Westwood right? Didn't he take up the last spot in our squad?

I'd have been fine with a rush goalie on Sunday. Might even have got a shot on target in the second half.

It might help if there are numerous draws when all the other contenders play each other!

I think if we're sticking with wing backs, I'd bring Barbs back in for a start, then yeah, I'd be tempted to go with Field and Amos in midfield with Chair in a free role and Dykes and Gray up front. Either that or Johansen in and Gray on the bench, with Amos pushing higher.

But, seeing as we've effed it up anyway, and if Barbet is leaving, I'd be even more tempted to try a back 4, then Field and Amos/Jojo, then Thomas, Chair and Adomah behind Dykes.

Bare bones.

Whether Barbet goes or not I'd have him in the side for the last 8 games. He's still one of our best players, just don't let him near any corners or free kicks

One thing for the Fulham game Gray is away with Jamaica, they play next Wednesday so doubt he will play against Fulham

Easy to say on a weekend when they're not playing. I'll bet he moves around more.

Far from ideal, but it does allow us to give Amos and a second striker more air time… provided we have a second striker!

Was always going to happen for Chris, the amount he's been physically targeted by other teams, i'm almost surprised it didn't happen sooner in the season.

Chaz is not having it

He is sticking up for his team so fair play to him and if we rose to 7th place everyone would be buzzing.
Its because we fell away to 7th place there is such doom and gloom plus nobody on here or QPR fans in general have a clue if we are going to right the ship
I think if we beat Fulahm then its back on however slim that possibility is

Has he watched back any of his performances this year? If he had, he would understand the negativity.

Austin's performance at Peterborough to pick just one, was on a par with Mark Hateley's at Highbury many years ago (always sticks in my mind for some reason) maybe similar in many ways in signed when past his best and miles off the pace.

of course if he said nothing he'd be accused or not caring as he has recently or if said yeah your right we're proper shit I doubt many would say well said charlie. Good to see the players are still positive anyway. Hopefully they can turn it around.

Our run in is difficult but all teams around us have several hard games to come as well. Millwall probably have the best run in
