I think we need to switch to three at the back today, so that Nico can play wing back and not left back. Bring in either Gubbins, he's left footed, on the left of Dunne or Masterson on the right and move Dickie central and Dunne left.

I don't think overly so. I wouldn't be surprised by another 1-1 draw as in our opening home game against Coventry.

Last time I was up there Sheron scored twice for us in a 2-2 draw which was handy and made the long journey home in the Escort van more cheerful, I'd take that right now.
People need to get away from thinking our next two home games will produce points for us, football doesn't work like that, Blackpool and Rotherham deserve to be treated with caution and respect, they've earnt their right to be in this league.

My concern today is that a weakened QPR side will concede an early goal today, drop their heads and end up with quite a shellacking 4 or 5 nil. That's how I fear it may well pan out.
The key to get any success today is not conceding a goal early but I just don't see the defence holding firm.

I don’t think there’s been a lot wrong with our shape first three games. Three of our 4 goals conceded have come from or directly after corners, so we need to do better at them.
I did feel that either side of half-time against Middlesborough we played with our full backs very narrow which gave them a lot of space out wide, particularly on Kakays side. None of our midfield were covering back until Albert came on. Hate to say it but this is the type of game where we could probably do with a Dom Ball type player. |  |
