If you've gotta go, might as well go out with a smile on your face...

This. It's the most perfect live performance ever. The tune is bang on, Tina Weymouth is cute as a button and the guy on guitar elevates the track.

Impossible to not be cheered up by it.

Philip Larkin

Coming:

On longer evenings,

Light, chill and yellow,

Bathes the serene

Foreheads of houses.

A thrush sings,

Laurel-surrounded

In the deep bare garden,

Its fresh-peeled voice

Astonishing the brickwork.

It will be spring soon,

It will be spring soon—

And I, whose childhood

Is a forgotten boredom,

Feel like a child

Who comes on a scene

Of adult reconciling,

And can understand nothing

But the unusual laughter,

And starts to be happy.

Oh, I could watch that for years.

Stationed on Mars, all on my Sweeney, I would be happy with just that video.
And maybe a cup of Barry's Red Tea.

Thought I'd come clean and admit that BerkoRanger is, indeed, also Instrumentals Club on social media. So please enjoy Happy Holidays and even consider Subscribing to my relaxing instrumental music channel.

Happy to just wake up every day and be given the chance to enjoy it as best I can because there's no guarantee that there's a tomorrow.

Well, since Discodroids has turned up, I might as well say that his posts on here have often put a smile on my face, including times when QPR have been doing their best to wipe it off again.

So, more or less randomly, here's one of his:

I'm Seeing Post John Foxx fronted Ultravox in a couple of days in Southed. 'er Indoors Will insist on dragging me out to socialize When im quite content to revel in my own farraday cage of self pity. God Bless Jo.

.. ..I'm Kind of looking forward to injection moulding My 38" waist , Fat Carcass into some Caharrt Jeans and lava lamp gut into a Red Or Dead polo top only to look like a big breasted petri dish bunk up offspring of Bernard Bresslaw and diana doors in a tank top, but f uck it i'm going out. It matters not that i now look like Grouty From 'Porridge' and can wear denis rousseau Kaftans as a snug fit. Im Going out.

peace be upon you cider ;-).

I promise you that I have no recollection of that post, i must have been pissed out of my skate. It must have been the 6 litre Phillips perfect draft machine Loewnbrau that gave me the verbose Stanley unwins.

-----------------------------------

Happiest time of the week for me is the magic slot of 6am to 8am every Saturday listening to 'Tony Blackburns sounds of the sixties' on radio 2.

It's the perfect comfort blanket of nostalgia , i've seen the live show twice.

in addition when i listen to the show, I always feel like 'Jimmy' from that scene in 'Quadrophenia' where he's getting ready to go to Brighton in the 5am darkness, brushing his hair with his nans vanity case hairbrush while listening to Radio Caroline play the High numbers 'Zoot suit'on his transistor radio .

---------------
if anyone remembers 'Modern toss' on ch4 back in the mid 2000's ,'Mr tourette master signwriter' and 'Space Argument' always cheered me up. There quite a few of them slung up on you tube.
