Hardly. I'd argue that Nick is one of the main reasons we didn't go to the wall at the time. We could have faced a Luton style descent. Our current situation is entirely down to poor internal management of the club at the time and in some areas, subsequently. |  |

Nick de Marco managed to get a £42m fine down to £17m. By scheduling payments over 10 years that effectively reduced it's impact even further. I'm not sure dragging it out any longer would have got us a better settlement. | | | |
