Too true. But I think we should play a team of youngsters, especially after what happened to Mackie last season. Or if there is anyway that the team can get away with not playing and it not affecting our league position (ie. being deducted points) we should consider it.

I really really like that idea. The only problem will be how to engineer a draw once we are 2-0 down! lol

But, it would make a great statement if we were 1-0 near the end and we just passed it back nice and easy before slotting it into our own net.

I think that we should win the Cup without playing Barton, as a protest, and then refuse to go up and collect the Cup. The players could do a lap of honour parading the Jacko statue with a Norfolk turkey on its head, Mr Bean style, which a fan threw onto the pitch at the end of the game. That fan would be me.
