We have a 4 page thread about James McLean turning his back on the national anthem(anti British). A 2 page thread about the queen doing a nazi salute (anti British). I put up a thread about people leaving the country to pursue acts of terrorism,extremism,Isis,all very anti British and said anyone leaving this country to take part should not be allowed back in and you remove it,why? Surely politics can't be pick and choose(my post was about Cameron's 5yr plan to stop people leaving Britain to fight for Isis,and I had a 5second plan,ie,leave and you don't come back.)is politics/free speech allowed or not,regards tony. |  | | |  |

You have to understand that this is Clive's board when you enter the world of loft for words and what he says goes. Anything contentious will be removed if he doesn't like it and for whatever reason. Politics certainly can be pick and choose, on this board and even in the real world.
If Clive says no, then that's it. If he says yes, be thankful.
Its a good board, but its Clive's board and subject to his rules and regs.

Sorry if that makes me a terrible person or a restricter of free speech or anti-British or whatever you want to accuse me of but that is how it is and after ten long years of this bloody website I'm sick to the back teeth of toys coming out of the pram because some incredibly important, vital thread about Muslims has been deleted because I've apparently got nothing better to do with my time.
This is not a heavily moderated board - it's only me, no team of mods. This is not a board that stops you posting non-football threads, or divides them up into different rooms and moves threads about.
I will delete threads citing transfer rumours from Tribal Football, EDS, Caught Offside and sites of that ilk because the stories are completely made up, designed as clickbait to get advertising revenue for people who don't deserve it. I'll also delete most (but certainly not all) threads relating to Muslims, ISIS because...
1 - They never end, always 14 pages, hang around at the top of the board for weeks.
2 - Always the same people saying the same things, it's been done to death.
3 - It discourages people from posting here, and gets the site a bad reputation which is difficult to shift.

I hate all of the political nonsense on this site and 99% of the time I manage to avoid temptation and just don't click on the thread, but most of the time it just seems to end up with fellow fans here for a common purpose arguing like little kids.
I'd much prefer it if this site was just football and Rachel Riley threads.
