First QPR goal scorer you ever saw live 14:20 - Feb 19 with 10349 views

I always thought my first qpr game I went to was V Plymouth Argyle boxing Day 1968.

My sister popped over last weekend and while looking through old diaries saw an entry saying that I went to QPR V Portsmouth 16th December 1967

First goalscorer Ian Morgan in a 2-0 victory(Mike Keen scored the other)

First three games I went to were 0-0! Chose home match against Wealdstone for my next game just to improve my chances of actually seeing a goal, and I think it was Don Givens who obliged.

Frank McLintock, equalising goal very late on vs Arsenal, Easter Monday 1976 (two days after THAT game). Gerry got a winning penalty a couple of minutes from the end from a "soft" challenge on Stan in the box to keep our faint title hopes alive until the final game the following Saturday.

your right about the Fenwick penalty mate , I don't remember them scoring but then it was 30 years ago
my 1st away game was Watford away in the milk cup Barnes missed a pen and johnny Byrne grabbed the winner

How strange that was my first game. I can't remember them scoring and always thought it was 2-0.

I went to school with Billy McEwan's grandson.

First live game I remember is a 3-3 at home to middlesbrough in 1992/93, Sinton equalised with a late penalty but I think Boro went ahead 3 times. However I did go to games before that one, I just can't remember them!

QPR V Plymouth 1968 was also my very first goals seen at Loftus Rd. 4-1 I think? Funny, I can't remember the R's goal scorers but remember Argyles scorer Mike Bickel chested the ball down and drove a hard shot from about 20 yards out at the Loft end to equalize just before half time.
