I know it might be a bit premature but with the signing looking imminent, it seems like we might have got a good one here

They could have found a better picture for his Wiki page though

Makes good reading. Thanks Simmo.

Seems like a positive move.

I love that we are signing players from the lower leagues, it just has a real QPR feel about it.

Huddersfield are in the Championship too... I take your point though, players on an upward trajectory rather than taking a step down is definitely the way to go. Nearly 200 appearances in this league, he's proven and at a peak age. I didn't realise he's pacey and can play LB too, which is a bonus. Looks potentially ideal as a partner to Hall.

Our colleagues at the Huddersfield Daily Examiner will testify to that. "He has oceans of speed," said Head of Sport Mel Booth.

The left-sided central defender and Rs have to thrash out personal terms"

Those meetings will have an interesting soundtrack, at least.

When we played Huddersfield at HQ last season one of their CB's really did impress me both in terms of footballing ability and also in terms of the way he marshalled the defence. Hopefully that was Lynch, if so looks like an excellent signing.

'Oceans of speed' - that sounded a bit fishy to me at first but if true it will be nice.

Anybody know if he's mainly a LB who can also play CB, or is it (hopefully) the other way around?
