Pick Holloway's last fixture of the 2017/18 season.

http://mobile.qpr.co.uk/fixtures/

Or if you are feeling brave call 'No New Manager'

A bit of fun to counter the morbid eventuality of the QPR disease.

Burton, 13th January. There's a run of winnable games through December and into January that will be crucial to our season. If he hasn't got it right by Burton he'll go. But obviously I want to say good luck Olly and the team, UUURRRRRRSSs and all that but, honestly, I just can't recall being this pessimistic before the start of a season.

I just cant bring myself to accept failure before a signing is made or a ball kicked . I think he will keep us in the top 10 throughout with bumps along the way and with 4 home games in April have a late playoff push .

Last home game sees us confirm a playoff spot and send Redknapp and Terry down .

I hope the board has realised that changing managers every season seldom works and gives him a fair go.

My only concern is his mental state , he looked flaky in that last losing streak. I would hope he would step down if that is a problem .

No new manager ... 6th place finish

Brentford home game, 25 November.

They might as well have drawn a big red circle round it on the fixture list.

Yep Brentford at home but the first serious knives drawn will be after Fulham at home on 30 September.

To be honest, that's as tough looking a first month as you can possibly get - if we're going to be no good this season, we will actually know by the 31st of August.

I hope that Holloway, Ferdinand and Hoos get it right on all fronts over the next six weeks and the squad is well equipped to cope with the challenge of a gruelling 46 games - it will be about who stays and goes as much as who comes in. Would love to think that Ian has another Blackpool or Palace-style promotion season in him, that would really warm the heart, especially with things looking so grim in the wider world. It's that or disaster, though, I feel - just can't see a top ten or twelve position being maintained in the present circumstances, we barely saw that when Briatore & co were funding the place pre-Warnock.

All will be revealed, though, and we won't have too long to wait. As for a managerial change, with all decent candidates now in work (Jackett has of course gone to Pompey) you'd be a brave man to bet against Captain Bellend.

I hope he lasts the season as that will mean the team have done well but knives will be out from fans after the Peterbrough away friendly and he'll be gone by the end of August

I like Ollie and would love him to succeed here again.

However, he's got some serious deadwood on his hands, some fans seem to think will someday do a job for us. That's what will finish him off.

Unusually, I find myself agreeing with you.
It may be gallows humour but not the most helpful thread.
I am therefore conscientiously objecting to this sweepstake.

other than to say it should be renamed 2017 rather than 2017/8 ;)

Gone after losing to Cardiff on the 26th August, making it the 5th loss of the season. TF not wanting a 6th loss decides enough is enough. Can't see us beating any of the teams in August. Needs a great pre-season & transfers to work from the start.

Thing is, you dont have to post negative stuff at all , it can be turned into a unifying , new season optimism .

There may be a time for doom and gloom but late June isnt it IMO

As Baz says in the OP , just a bit of fun . I am sure Ollie would see it that way

I may change my prediction to Champions
