QPR mentions in TV shows 08:36 - Oct 14 with 4878 viewsozranger

On this lovely day to make the long and dreary trip to the NE, thought I'd bring this up as no-one else has. Was watching Murder Maps last Thursday night on Yesterday. It was the story of the Brighton Trunk Murders. In an interview by Chief Inspector Donaldson of the suspect Cecil England (aka Toni Mancini), the latter mentioned that he "played for Queens Park Rangers". A little bit of poetic licence!

Didnt see this episode but seen a couple of the others, was this Mancini saying this for some reason? INteresting to see he escaped the noose.

ON this point surely Yesterday could show Boys From the Bush???

The older Steptoe berating his son for missing Labour Party meetings, and the son asserting he always attends unless there is work on, and the older Steptoe saying 'And??'
'Or if Queens Park Rangers are playing at home.'

Why thank you again, Sir.

My Dad used to have a factory in Lechmere Road, just off Willesden High Street - it was spotted by the Minder locations people as a suitable venue for a scene or two, so most of my family got to play background roles at £40.00 each. George Cole but not Dennis Waterman. I could go on and on...

Brian Clough ;; Its only QPR.All you got to do is sort out Stan Bowles to beat QPR.::

There was an episode of The Singing Detective where we got a mention.

He was having cream rubbed into his body by a pretty nurse. To stop himself getting too excited, he had to think of boring things. He then blurts out Queens Park Rangers.

The bastard 😡😡.

I was looking for a great, nationally used media pic from that time when the Loft's own John Davis was right up the front in the melee. Anyone remember him, Cricklewood Postie, 6', long long red hair, be about 62 now?
