Did you see it? Absolutely deserved. A proper fight - not a football one.

No, will find it now! Had to be a proper fight, as I say, almost unheard of full stop, at this level must be a first!

Not sure and also not sure how to check! There haven't been many that have reached this level at all, but if I had to guess and it would be a guess, i would say that we have seen a female official at HQ before, but will have to rely on Clive's archives for a definitive answer!
Tomorrow's referee on 16:00 - Sep 17 with 932 views | PinnerPaul | The fight is bonkers and quite comical. I love the reaction of those sent off - especially the first one. "Fight ref? What fight is that then?"
Tomorrow's referee on 16:01 - Sep 17 with 930 views | Northernr | I'm sure Sian Massey must have done a game at ours in the Premier League. She certainly had us away at Villa around that time.

Yes I was thinking of her as a possibilty. I also thought Amy Fearn had been to LR as well.

In my opinion Sian Massey is one of the better line persons.
Tomorrow's referee on 16:20 - Sep 17 with 898 views | PinnerPaul | Well I found a website that lists referee's games and according to that neither Sian nor Amy Fearn have ever been to LR. Has no results for Wendy Toms.

IMO she is by far the best that I've seen in europe. Admittedly, I've not seen too many! We've learned never to dispute her decisions when watching her on tv. If only she was to replace Keithy in the middle for championship matches!

I know that was said tongue in cheek, but highlights an issue that is worth noting. Once referees get to level 3, after a season or two they HAVE to choose to either continue refereeing or go down the assistant route - you can't mix the two above that level.

So Pinner….. I’ve notched championship refs being the 4th at premiership games and league cup games can the likes of Stroud officiate prem matches then ? Can they also run the line if needed?

No, only Select Group 1 referees can referee in the Premier League. Stroud is (somehow) in the Select Group 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Select_Group

She most certainly did the line at Kenilworth Road v us when Mike Newell was in charge.

They technically 'can' as in they are qualified to, but won't ever be appointed as AR once they are on the referee path.

Yes they can. If he's been a 4th, then obviously he CAN officiate in PL. All 4ths at that level and EFL, take over in the middle if anything happens to the ref. As above, neither he nor any EFL or PL referee will run the line, unless in an emergency - eg, they are 4th and one of the ARs can't continue.
