I had a situation towards the end of last season, when I accidentally pulled over my mug tree.
My favourite QPR mug seemed to take an age to roll off the work surface but it did and was smashed to a 1000 pieces. I am not superstitious but I took it as a definite that we would get relegated.

About 6 weeks after my Dutch mates stayed with us on one occasion, I found a Chelsea mug tucked away amongst our mugs. The twa ts. Thankfully it was from some stall on Oxford Street, so no money went to CFC. I was devastated when it broke after being tw atted with a hammer. |  |

I'm on my third QPR mug. The one from Holloway's first spell in charge is long gone, unfortunately, it was a beauty. King of oafs that I am, I broke it 😞
The second, sporting the Briatore era crest, looked a bit naff but I loved it all the same until my clumsiness did for it too.
The third one has the latest crest and very bold stripes, which go all the way round, and it's a real stunner  . Long may it hold my coffee. |  |

I am looking at my birthday gift from a few years ago with the PL crest and i despise that logo so much I never took it out of the plastic.
It says No 1 Dad so I tell everybody its too valueable to risk using in case it comes to an early demise  | | | |
