Vaclav Pilar has been the player of the Euro's for me, he's dredged up memories of QPR wingers over the years.
Wolfsburg have him signed as they do with a whole group of young, under 25 year old players, cost them a million.
I really hope that QPR, Mark Hughes, Mike Rigg (?) recognise that there is a huge resource of young players behind the old Iron Curtain who still value hard work, responsibility, and skill.
I've really enjoyed watching the Czechs, they have a natural tendency to being unsure of just attacking for the hell of it.
Pilar, Plasil and Jiracek have been the best value footballers on view for me, i give you QPR type players but have no idea of their contracts or value other than...Pilar at Wolfsburg and cost them £1 million......and Jiracek as match winner was somewhat less..... |  |
