Wasnt happy to see AJ and Zamora start and no Cisse but actually thought until AJ was injured they worked excellently together. AJ movement and touch is something we've been missing. He's hard to play against and although may not be prolific in front of goal he creates space and opportunities for others. Will be a real blow if it's a bad injury. |  |

I don't like seeing Adel, Hoillet and Cisse all starting out on the bench. But that being said, BZ and AJ seem to be playing well together. Though the whole team looked alright today - so I am not going to complain. But after a few poor ones I will be whinging for these guys to be getting some time. Good problems to be having. |  | | |

I think the logic behind it is in a a team with a lot of new players playing an established partnership who know what the other is more likely to do.
I was perplexed by the Mackie sub though, I thought that was unnecessarily defensive at a time when we were on top.

Weve held the European champions (still sticks in the throat); bullied them in midfield; and could have beaten them. Think the balance is ok up front for this game. Will change for other teams - and if our midfield control games like I think they will, then MH will be able to show what a great tactician he is by changing our forward line to suit. | |

Cisse just hasn't looke good this season. He seems to spend most of the time in an offside position. I don't rally understand what happened coz at the end of last season he seemed like the best thing since sliced bread. Maybe he is out of shape or having a purple patch. Hope he can pull it together, because we will need him this season. |  |

We didn't miss Adel and AJ was playing well until his injury.
I have no complaints about the team selection at all.
I suspect though that AJ will be out for 6 weeks and so Cisse will most probably be a starter from now on.
However, so far this year Cisse has not shown the golden touch that he had last year...... |  | | |

I think he wanted a striker who would come deeper and level it up in midfield. while being able to get in the box when we attacked
Johnson was doing that , he picked up the injury tracking back almost into the right back position
