They've started playing that instrumental they used to play back in the seventies too, called the 'pied piper' I think, god that takes me back every time I hear it.
Last game I played (directly before the Chelscum game) there was a circus tent set up next to the pitches. I couldn't help but laugh during the 2nd half after I'd been subbed off I noticed there was music blaring out from within. And while our defence and goalkeeper were faffing about with the ball in our area, chased by 3 attackers the William Tell Overture came on! Could only have been funnier if it had've been the Benny Hill tune!
They've been playing this one again - similar to what an earlier poster said, it takes me back to the 60s
I heard this when listening to Radio National (Australia) at 6am when they were recycling BBC baubles (I know, 'get a life', same as 90% of people on this forum). The presenter, Steve Race, asked what the panel thought of that particular piece, "Derivative." was Frank Muir's dry observation, before Mr Race announced that this piece had just been picked as the 'running out' music for his "beloved Queens Park Rangers".
For me, it still evokes an era, but seriously, its fcking awful.
Had come across Les Claypool in adverts and articles in bass magazines, but my actually hearing anything by Primus seemed to have slipped under the radar.

Interesting,
BONKERS
but interesting nevertheless.
Highly recommend Primus, they suck! (their words not mine)
