We played really well.. Can the outers shut the fck up and give us a break for a week ?

Poll: Who do we want down with us and Burnley?

Yep, saw enough to have good reason for hope.

‘morbid curiosity about where this is all going’

Played really well and with the run of the ball would have won.

Loads of great balls into the box and on another day we'd have 3 points.

My only regret is that we don't have someone like AJ to come on and add something different up front. we're short of options and as has been said, Campbell should at least be an option.

agree.... apart from a shaky 5 minutes in the 1st half we defended pretty well.
Junior is way better than SWP and gave us more up front.
Something to build on.

Jagielka was immense, unfortunately.

Do we genuinely have any people who want Hughes out?

Not me. I don't feel it would achieve anything.
Replace him with............
.....exactly.
The squad and management team has my support behind them.
We will turn this corner.

The only people I've seen suggest they want him gone are the same people who demanded Warnock sacked and him brought in...

The team was considerably better with Anton, Nedum, Clint and SWP replaced. The performance overall was an improvement but I would like to see more intensity, guile and desire in the last third, particularly when up against 10 men. There's clearly a lack of confidence to go and take the game by the scruff of the neck and force the issue. We need any kind of win to rebuild that confidence. Shame the penalty shout didn't go our way.

Only the usual numnuts who get a kick out of it.

Technology advances, unfortunately humans do not.

That often tends to be the case...

Then there are the group who chip away constantly.. Basically blaming management over player error.. Its an outer stance imho

So it's ok for black players to express their frustrations at the Kick it Out campaign but fans of a football club rooted to the bottom of the table at the end of October without a win have to keep quiet?

People should be realistic & honest, we dont have a right to beat Everton, one of the better, most well organised, established teams in this division.
The level of our performance was faultless, I was very impressed by that, best performance of the season by far IMO.

OTT.

We played well, just a bit too timid in the final third and not up to speed on defending set pieces.

Park on the right makes a lot more sense as expected and you could see the difference that having actual full backs makes.

Everton are very hard to break down anyway though. Pienaar going off meant we were far more likely not to loose, but not necessarily likely to win imo.

Just have to accept that a point's a point I suppose...

Thought we played better in the Spurs & Chelscum games.

We played well but we must take chances when we are on top and we must not give away goals like the one we did today.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Can't see us scoring enough goals to stay up tbh.

Disagree Kir, i thought we looked the real deal against Spurs for 60 minutes.
Granero and Faurlin have a very good understanding on the pitch and today i did notice Granero looking for options to pass in the midfield.
Felt that Faurlin was missed today cause he is outstanding in break up play and passing.
Zamora and Park had an off day to my believe

So judging by todays game for me it will be..

Cesar
Bosingwa Mbia Nelsen Traore
Diakite
Faurlin Granero
Hoilett Cisse Taarabt

Plus one

Also, both teams cancelled each other out.

Everton are a very good side. Well drilled and organised, good played and Jag at the back, was imense.

Frustrating today. What concerns me, atmosphere muted. The frustration is bubbling away. Two guys on the tube and others leaving upper loft talking about Redknapp. Bonkers. Hughes is getting there slowly but surely. It's hard but that's the prem. gotta hang in there.

2:59 baby!

Thought we were characteristically poor at the back, ponderous and slow going forward and created very few clear chances. Not a good performance.

I've sat in the lower loft and for the last two home games watched first Gorkks and now today Distin have free headers in our penalty box from free kicks.

And you're frustrated?

Does anyone have to state the bloody obvious?

You would have seen that by sitting anywhere, Ted, but take the point. Our defending from set pieces right the way back to Swansea has been mostly lamentable this season.

Bare bones.

Well i was sad to see NW go and am willing to give MH another 5 games on the condition that we've actually won a game by then.If the results haven't improved then they will probably have someone lined up to prevent us getting cut adrift.
