Seems he's ready for a move. Frustrated at lack of first team football. Giroud was injured for three months yet he still can't get much of a sniff - Welbeck & Sanchez ahead of him; plus Sanogo or the other youngster.

He's happy in London.

I'd love us to tempt him away.

I think this would be a good signing.
I also like James Maclean from Wigan, and i've always rated Peter Wittingham from Cardiff, good crosser and deadball specialist and can play on the left.
Pavel Pogrenyak from Reading imo would be a good shout, always looked dangerous playing against us.

I often thought McClean looked ok but when he played against Scotland recently he was terrible and the Irish fans i spoke to after the game didnt have a good word for him either.
Bad spell possibly and i'm sure many on here have a very low opinion about Alan Hutton but he seems to do a good job 9 times out of 10 for Scotland and had hit good form for Villa recently, could be that McClean needs a move?

Podolski wouldn't come to us in a million years, they'll be far bigger clubs around Europe looking to take him.
All the other players mentioned are too old, slow and just not good enough.

Maybe Wittingham is about 5 years too late. The "Pog" would be a replacement for Zamora if tactics are going to continue to be lump it forward. I think Maclean can step up a level,or even Maloney. I'm just throwing names in the hat.I dont know what our budget is,lets put in a cheeky bid for Bale..
I do think Podolski is a good shout though.

Yeah he's going to Inter apparently. Joel Campbell on loan from Arsenal would be interesting though, think he could gel with Charlie (or just stick him left wing )

QPR - "shit but local"

We have a history of picking up the "forgotten" from Prem rivals.
Sammy Lee, Ray Wilkins, Tony Currie (my favorite)...I am casting a hopefull eye at Flamini.

Was reading something in the Guardian today ( showing my middle class lefty credentials) about best players in the world cup. Joel Campbell was mentioned and Wenger said he was part of his plans. He has since played 1 league cup game.

Those players were bought decades ago.

Now it is almost impossible to buy a good player from a big club:

P.S. Forgot to mention Currie was a big favourite of mine too.
