Just seen on WATRB's that one of the LSA's finest, Alan Barnes, who many of you will know either personally and definitely by sight, has been knocked down getting back on the LSA transport on the way to the game tonight.
Apparently reasonably bad incident.
The result tonight means nothing whilst one of our own is in hospital due to an incident whilst following the club away.

yeah i remember me and him arguing at Hartlepool years ago as he was slating the team and i was defending them, both called each other various names then stood together pissing ourselves laughing at the deckchair game as we made up

i have spoken to some there at the incident, alan was hit by a car, an off duty para medic stepped in and may have saved his life, anyway alan was taken to hospital and all our thoughts are with him....one of the biggest qpr fans i have ever met, does reserve games, youth games goes everywhere.

on facebook someone has posted, they spoke to a dr treating alan and alan is talking, has some broken bones and needs surgery later, so as he is talking etc i am hoping that is a good sign, i do not know if surgery for bones or what but, get well soon alan.

Was there when it happened and got an update earlier this morning from Gary confirming same as Luke earlier in the thread. Looked very bad for quite some time but thankfully the Fire service and some passing paramedics did a fine job in keeping Alan with us.
