Too many players in that squad are not footballers. Sylla , Poulter and Washington lack any semblance of technical ability and that was there for everyone to see tonight. Robinson was miles away from being match fit yet JFH played him.
And then we have our main tactic - hoofball! Everything about tonight only reinforced what most fans know:
1 JFH has not got a clue. Absolutely hopeless game management and tactics.
2 The squad is poor and that was hopelessly exposed tonight.
3 The entertainment factor is shite. Boring, unimaginative and inept football.
Unless someone at the club makes a brave decision we are getting dragged into a relegation scrap and this bunch of players have no backbone for it. Time to get rid of JFH.

Oldfield isn't up to it as a coach. But...
For god sake play Wszolek down the right every week. He is a proper old fashioned winger and he swings in proper crosses.
Tonight was crying out for Polter and Sylla from the start because of the size of their CBs.
Chery is wasted wide. Washington is wasted wide.
We have no left wing at all.
Cousins still isn't showing any kind of real ability to grab a game at all.
Our defence are far too far apart too much of the time.
We cannot concentrate for more than 15 minutes at a time.
JFH is untouchable.
David Oldfield isn't a good enough coach at this level.
I absolutely guarantee that the same players under a better coach would be playing much much better, but given that JFH is untouchable, then perhaps he could show the balls to move his beloved coach on and find a much much better one.
Sadly JFH has not got the in game brain to change personnel at the right time. He waits far too long.
We had a reasonable spell until these defeats and we can jump up and down as much as we want but we were well beaten tonight by a better organised team that passed better, attacked better and played better as a team.
How much could we do with a player like McEachran??? Did a Faurlin on us tonight. Played everything straight through us. |  |

Good overview. I fel for Cousins because he is a decent player getting destroyed by JFH. Entirely agree on playing wingers but we never start in a 442 because the manager and coaching staff will not go with it. How much longer must we watch one up front at home and Smithies launching it to no one. So pathetic. | | | |
