Slim Pickens and I wouldn’t even sign him after what he did to Rowan Vine.

I like what I've seen of Alfie Jones from Hull, if they don't take up the option. Dan Barlaser at Rotherham is a good player. The two lads from Bristol City Massengo and Semenyo would be nice but probably going to want too much money. Probably end up with Bentley instead.

Yeah, Massengo has looked good every time I’ve seen them play us. They bought him for £7m though so probably on massive wages. And presumably an attitude problem as I’m not sure he’s played this season.

Doubt we could afford his wages but sh1thouser extraordinaire Daniel Johnson would be interesting. Could we?

There's some real value in that list.

Jay Dasilva is a player I've liked for a while, good age, and would offer great competition for Paal. Only downside is I imagine he's one of Bristol's higher earners and would expect to be a starter.

Sam Byram is an equally good option for a permanent RB spot. He's 29 though, so no real sell-on option and, again, I'd imagine is a higher earner for Norwich.

As much as he's played limited football, both literally and figuratively, I'd bring Hugill in on a short contract (i.e. two-years) if we could financially make it work. We know what we're getting, and I feel he fits more into Critchley's style than Dykes.

I also like Ben Woodburn as a squad option to replace one of the departing players. I'd imagine Critchley may have a profile of him already from his time at Liverpool. Could be a useful asset in the middle. One goal and two assists from 24 this season is better than most of our current crop.

Ogbene is another striker who I think offers good value. Six goals and two assists in a poor Rotherham side. He's 25, so a good age, and again, feels like a player more suited to Critchley.

All that being said, I'd be surprised if any of these comes to us, given the financial limits, etc.

Also at Bristol City, mainly sat on their bench. Could be good competition for Dieng but wages probably too high.

They've benched him for not signing a contract.
I like his big hair.

I think Rayan Kolli has cornered our big hair spot, we don't want him blocking his progress.
