TACTICAL TACTICAL TATICAL...... 17:24 - Apr 22 with 1779 viewsenfieldargh

Fantastic performance kept it tight bar the goal after the first half BFC salvo.

I remember Burnley coming to us and although completely in control of he game they felt the need for poohousery.

Their fans chanted TACTICAL TACTICAL .

Well TACTICAL back

captains fantastic

Bar starting Drewe, I though Gareth got it right today. Started 1 lump up front paired with a more mobile forward. He recognised that Drewe was struggling to contain their winger in the first half so brought on Laird. Swapped Dykes for Martin when the former tired. Brought on Amos for some much needed legs in midfield in the final quarter. Introduced Sinclair in the second half to stretch Burnley with pace in behind. After some iffy decisions in the last few games he deserves some credit for getting the tactics right and making substitutions at the right times.

Ainsworth did get it spot on today, but the Drewe sub was forced through injury.

Agreed. And Laird was back to what we saw early part of the season. Their winger got very little out of him 2nd half

I'm not totally convinced as Ainsworth told him to see it out until half time.
