A frustrating evening spent trying to get to through the proverbial front door but falling into the garden hedge and running into the garden gate. Eventually, a tiring Chair decided to stop hanging around the lampposts and put a decent ball into the garden while Bruce the Jock brilliantly threw himself forward over the hedge and put a diving header through the letterbox.

PS I've spent too much time reading Clive's reports.

A couple of points. I thought the ref was excellent for an hour, but he then gave a foul against Armstrong when from my angle it was clear Sincs shirt was almost completely pulled off him. After that the ref got a few things wrong.

And I was surprised to see Sam Field popping up on the left wing. Good to see him playing further forward by he's not a wide man.

But we have to accept we aren't very good although we did deserve the draw. Good to see Chrissy get into the game. It looks like he needs to gradually build up fitness and confidence. I know Illy over-elaborates but I thought he was our best player. On one occasion when he'd held on to the ball there really wasn't a crossing opportunity as defenders blocked the cross.
