I was thinking the Old City Arms but that might be predominantly scum?
The Windmill in Acton is sometimes a good shout.
I and 3 of my mates will be in costume for a thirtieth birthday.
We'll be the ones dressed as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Might be an issue for some...
Any ideas?!

I'll probably not be very popular with this but...
I made a statement yesterday to my mate.
"I would rather that Chelsea lost the Champions League final if it meant we had to be relegated this season."
To be fair I was in a bit of a food coma after excessive eating at Nandos but the more I think about it the more I think I'm right.
Think about it long term!
Seriously though, really hope they get absolutely trashed tonight.
And er, we'll stay up anyway! |

I just did this online questionnaire to see who I would lean towards in the elections coming up.
Turned out I am compatible with:
85% Green
75% Ken
65% Independent candidate
To be fair I am probably going for one of those two.

I know loads will disagree but Boris has to go. He's done nothing towards a lot of the youth issues that reared up during last Summer. He doesn't represent most Londoners and I just feel like no progress has been made with him with the exception of the Boris bikes which are a pretty good addition to transport options. |

He gets me decent points usually but I just had a shocking mental image of myself celebrating a Chelsea assist or goal if he were involved...

Just noticed that there isn't really a Thread for the game tonight.
Are you all like me now and consider following England games more of a casual glance than a full on stare?
For what it's worth I think it is good to see Phil Jones start but why does he have to be played out of position? Why not Micah Richards or even Kyle Walker at right back? Both in form for their clubs and both actual right backs. Ditch Terry I say, he's finished...
Also I hear Wayne Rooney is apparently gutted about getting sent off in the 63rd minute tonight... |

So I decided on not getting a season ticket which I am beginning to regret but isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.
Anyway, I am not too sure what I am going to be doing, or where I should be. What are other stay aways going to be doing?
My plan is to go to a pub with a few mates, see in the new season with some beers and soccer saturday.
Any ideas as to where exiles like us should go?
Or is anyone in the know as to satellite streams in any locals (West London)?
I KNEW I would regret this! So excited but just not going to be the same...  |

Just feel like it is a bit doom and gloom again with this stupid FA hearing.
I really wanted to go tomorrow but couldn't get a ticket in the end. I might head into Bush, watch Final Score or whatever is on in the pub and get slizzered if the right result comes in...
