Apologies! Marco Boriello?

couldn't attach the tweet earlier
Didn't see this on here today . Bid in for "veteran" Roma striker.
I realise the press don't work too hard when it comes to stories about our potential signings. The word veteran however gives this some credence ......

Remy, is he or isn't he?
at 10:43 30 Jul 2014

HR should write down, or record all that he says to stop himself from continually contradicting his last statement!
"His (Remy) fitness has never been in doubt. You won't find a fitter lad"
"Charlie is our only fit striker, we've got no-one else who can play up front "
Remy should have been back days ago, failed Medical doesn't give you another week off flight back and return to training.
So either he is the fittest lad and ergo should be in tonight's line up or he is not fit and Liverpool were right to be cautious .

Crouchy on the move
at 12:19 24 Jan 2014

Has come in from 5-1 to 3-1 to join the Hoops, extended from 2-1 to 3-1 to join palace.
Descent enough player, I do think he could offer something.
If we ended up with him would you feel a little short changed after all the talk about Ntep and Belfodil?

Where's SWP.
at 15:02 9 Nov 2013

Shaun is a ready made Hoilett replacement, where is he? Feel if we started with AJ today instead of Jenas we would have capitalised early doors.
If we play with with two out and out wingers do we need a third midfielder in the hole? Why not Aj?
Especially as the last two games the third midfielder has been pushed further up to support Charlie, which (Jenas' goal aside) doesn't really work, the midfielder doesn't read the strikers movements too well amend tends to sit deeper than an attacker would which means the loose ball is surrendered, it worked, at least possession wise, when we had the three ball players in the mid and two holding as we played throug the middle.
Injuries have forced HR's hand somewhat so now he needs to believe in it, he can still play one up top with two wingers but have the second striker sitting between the lines rather than a midfielder.

Let me tell you Fans come first. Everyone including me let the fans down. Many of us need a hard look at themselves. QPR has amazing fans. They deserve better.

Reading too much into it or is he eluding to a change?

Julio Cesar!
at 07:42 23 Aug 2012

SSN! It seems the knee jerk goes on.
Dawson, very happy if that comes off.
Mbia, same as above
Carvalho, great player, concerned he is / would be a player brought in for his name and not what he will do over the next year.
Cesar, can't deny he has been a top keeper, but feel same as Carvalho.
.
I'm not concerned by the quality just by the manner in which they are being considered so hastily.

Pienaar £6m
at 09:42 23 Jan 2012

Been given permission to talk to Pienaar, and spuds have told us if all agreed the fee will be £6m. Is that good money?
Is Classon not worth a punt for half that?

Just on Skysports Radio. Both players looking likely to sign. £3m each..
Fingers crossed. I'd be happier to sign both of these players for the same fee as Chris Samba alone.

Desperate! Need ticket for West Brom. Any Help?
at 11:13 29 Nov 2011

Hi all. I have made a huge error in judgement and find myself at the mercy of other friendly, top draw Rangers supporters.

I have an old friend (ST holder for 11 years before emigrating) flying in from the States on Friday for the West Brom Game on Saturday.

His old man is moving home to Ireland and this will be his last game, I upgraded my sons ticket to adult and tried to buy one other, but have been told that it is a complete sell out.

If anyone, preferably lower loft, can help with a spare, we would be eternally gratefully.

There are always empty seats on my row NL P but getting into the loft is the problem. Willing to pay over the odds if necessary.

Thank you all in advance.

Promotion comparisons Newc/WBA/R's
at 10:48 3 Feb 2011

This was posted on the offy message board by my brother who lives down under, but makes good reading.......

So, after our cracking start to the season we seem, by those lofty standards, to have been a bit jittery of late - still in the box seat, but a tad jittery...

I have had a look at Newcastle and WBA after 29 games last season and there is some very positive, comparable stats (okay so, it may not set the world alight with it's interestingness).

Newcastle 09/10 (after 29 games)

W 17, D 8, L 4 F 48 A 20 GD 28, Pts 59

WBA 09/10 (after 29 games)

W 16, D8, L5 F 59 A 31 GD 28, Pts56

QPR 10/11 (after 29 games)

W 15, D 11, L 3 F 48 A 18 GD 30, Pts 56

Definitely some encouragement and heart to be taken from those figures.

It is worth noting (outside of how much time I seem to have on my hands today) that Newcastle did not lose for the remainder of their season from game 30 on, taking 43 points from 17 games.

WBA lost 2 of their last 17, taking 35 points from an available 51.

We may be looking jittery of late, but we are right up there with the two promoted teams from last season at the same point of the year and you cannot ask for more than that. I guess we can just ask for more of the same....

Come on you Hoops...
