How sad that the Yorkshire Evening Post should try to keep alive the moans from Leeds supporters still crying over an alleged push by Chris Martin on Kasper Schmeichel.

"Blatant", they are calling it. Yet I viewing it on Sky Sports there appears to be no contact whatsoever.

It must be said that Schmeichel was posed like a crab and fell backwards, but Chrissy Martin is a yard away from him. Nobody seemed to indicate a fould had been witnessed, apart from Schmeichel himself.

Even the two Leeds players on the goal line never protested aprt from the usual flailing of arms to try to influence the officials.

The BBC TV highlights never showed a push, although the way Schmiechel fell down might have earned a whistle from the referee for a foul. However, neither Mick Russell nor his assistant saw anything that warranted a foul, and the goal stood.

Now Norwich City players and supporters have already turned their attention to the local derby against Ipswich next Sunday.

While Leeds supporters bemoan their lot, desperate for as many points as possible before their usual drop in form after Christmas.

It's the first paper they've put out since the game, the article is in the same paper as the match report, it's not like they're banging on about it for days, do you not know how the print media works? 3) have you seen the videos on youtube/daily motion from people in the crowd? Just because it wasn't on Sky Sports/BBC doesn't mean it didn't happen 4) I agree, it wasn't a free kick and Kasper fell over far too easily (diving for a free kick but costing us 2 points instead), but to say there was no contact means you haven't seen the videos or you are lying.

But now that Leeds are complaining about a poor decision we're "crying" and "bemoaning our lot" because we're desperate for points! Nice to see that double standards are alive and well and living in Norfolk.

MutzNutZ added 13:39 - Nov 23 I am certainly NOT lying. I even provided a link to the Sky Sports clip. And, to be perfectly frank, I have neither the time, nor the inclination, to surf around such sites as YouTube or Daily Motion in hopes that I may chance across some grainy mobile phone video clip. Did I say there was no contact? I said the video clips showed no contact. A subtle difference, but a difference nonetheless. As for "double standards", I hate to have to point this out to you, but Michael Oliver's red card against Grant Holt was overturned by the FA, So a reason to be aggrieved was also felt by the governing body.
