QPR travel to Spurs tomorrow and the LFW pundits are back to look ahead to that one, and the rest of the weekend sporting action.

Week two of no internet, and I’m politely informed by Virgin broadband that they won’t install cable for me because I’m not cost effective. Clive recommended Virgin to me, which is almost certainly why it failed. Which means that I have to persevere with my Vodafone dongle, which blocks literally every gambling site on the internet. So I’m having to do this at work, where only 75% of the gambling sites are blocked instead.

I’m delighted that my Chelsea win to nil bet lost last time out, for obvious reasons! Boy there are an awful lot of sore Chelsea losers around though! I’m going to stick with the same bet for the Spurs game, and go for a Spurs win to nil, available at 13/10 with Bet365 who will refund losing bets in the unlikely event that it’s a goalless draw.

For my multiple, I’ve just discovered that Victor Chandler do a promotion which is that if one leg of your multiple lets you down, they will refund your stake a free bet. Seeing as my last dozen failed multiples have all been by a single leg, I’m going to go with them for a while, and see how I fare. I’d actually have halved my losses if I’d have gone with them from the start! Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Crawley and Bayern Munich pays out £50.23 for a £10 stake, so I’ll go for that…

That’s all this time out, hopefully by next week I’ll be back from the dark ages and able to justify in greater depth why I’m not winning any money…

Finally though, don’t forget that some of us are doing the sponsored walk to Spurs from Loftus Road, and a couple of quid donated via the sticky on the forum would make a massive difference.

For the Weekend:

Spurs vs. QPR - Spurs win to nil - £15 @ 13/10 (Bet365)

Fivefold accumulator - Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Crawley and Bayern Munich - £10 @ 5.23 (Victor Chandler)

A short column this week as most of my time has been spent hunting out Chelsea fans and hammering them.

We head over to Spurs for another Sky game, I am not convinced about Spurs, on their day they can beat anyone but they are prone to a blip. Fingers crossed it's a blip and will go for us to nick it 2-1 with man of the moment Heider to score first. I'll have 2 lucky 15's on the races and first goalscorers. Good Luck and remember" tell me ma, me ma. To put the champagne on ice, ........"

Finally our professional odds compiler Owen Goulding proved he was human last week as his bet of the week failed for the first time this season. Can he redeem himself ahead of this game with Spurs?

Well I must admit I have never been so pleased to be wrong as I was last week. But to be honest, you would have needed to be Biff from Back to the Future 2 with his sports Almanac to predict that result and contrary to popular belief, I have now proved that is not the case. This week is another incredibly difficult London derby for the Hoops. I am hoping we don't suffer a low after the high, but White Hart Lane is a very difficult place for an away team with Spurs having lost only once at home in the league all last season and their only loss at home so far this season being the obligatory thrashing by Man City. I have a feeling however, that Warnock may play a more attacking style this week with Traore being the only change from last week's starting 11 and as such, I can envisage some goals in this game. So I am recommending a bet on there to be a goal between the first and fifteenth minute inclusive with William Hill at a tempting 2/1. Get to your seat early! Now I am going to make like a tree and get out of here........
