The BBC are reporting that Wrexham's Neil Taylor is set to sign on at the Liberty Stadium

BBC Online are reporting that the deal to bring the youngster to Swansea City is set to be completed with compensation around £40,000 heading in the direction of Wrexham in return.

The reports say "Swans boss Paulo Sousa is on the verge of signing the out-of-contract Wrexham left-back, who made his Wales bow in May's 2-0 defeat, on a three-year deal.

"Taylor was recommended to Swansea by their coach Alan Curtis, who worked with Taylor in Wales under-21 set-up.

"The Swans will have to pay compensation as Taylor is under 24 and Wrexham have developed the promising 21-year-old.

"Taylor courted Premier League interest and rejected a move to another Championship club and is poised to sign for Wrexham's Welsh rivals Swansea.

"BBC Sport understands the Swans will have to pay in the region of £40,000 to Wrexham in compensation for Taylor, who will replace Argentine left-back Fede Bessone who signed for Leeds United earlier this month.

"Taylor is to be Sousa's second signing of the summer after sealing the deal for Aldershot midfielder Scott Donnelly, who was also out of contract."
