Byrne baby Byrne — podcast
Thursday, 13th Mar 2014 21:22 by LFW

Prolific QPR goal scorer from the 1980s John Byrne is the guest on this week’s Open All R’s Podcast.

With QPR at Brighton on Tuesday night, Byrne was able to offer his opinion on two of his former clubs prior to kick off — although given that his initial assessment was the Seagulls “are not playing well, and they’re not scoring goals” it might have you crying into your beer following the 2-0 seat back at Falmer.

There’s plenty of talk about Byrne’s time with the R’s as well, including his memories of the 6-0 win against Chelsea at Loftus Road in Easter 1986.

Byrne was talking to host Paul Finney, regular panellist Chris Mendes, LFW’s resident responsible adult Colin Speller and Kilburn Times journo Jordan Foster.
