With all the new arrivals this week, some departures were inevitable and midfielder Tommy Doherty is the first - joining League Two side Wycombe on a permanent basis

Doherty has more or less become a forgotten man at Loftus Road since Ian Holloway signed the fiery midfielder in the summer of 2005. He has made just 15 appearances in total for the R's and it was obvious he wasn't in the plans of Gary Waddock, John Gregory and now, Luigi De Canio, although he did feature in pre season during Waddock's short reign.

After several loan spells with Wycombe Wanderers, 'Doc' has finally made his stay at the Causeway stadium a permanent one, signing a two and a half year deal. This following his contract at QPR being terminated this morning by mutual consent.
