Rowan Vine has returned to Loftus Road following his 3 month loan and has signed a four and a half year deal with the R's for a fee believed to be around £1 million.

After sitting with the R's following in the Upper Shed on Saturday, in full QPR training gear, it was only a matter of time that the deal for the Birmingham striker was made permanent. As mentioned, Vine has been on loan with the R's for 3 months, scoring 3 goals and with assists aplenty.

Around this time last year, Vine joined Birmingham from Luton for an undisclosed fee and the former Colchester, Brentford and Portsmouth striker made 19 appearances for the Blues, scoring just once.

Rangers latest capture told the Official QPR Website;

"As soon as I was informed that a permanent deal could be on the cards, I was absolutely delighted.

I thoroughly enjoyed my loan spell here and in the first few days of the transfer window, the Club have made their intentions clear, with the quality they have already brought in.

This is clearly the place to be and when you see six or seven new players come through the door so quickly, you know the people at the very top mean business."

WELCOME BACK TO QPR AND GOOD LUCK, ROWAN!!
