Simon Walton has made a surprise loan move to Championship rivals Hull City as the transfer window draws to a close.

Walton joined the R's from Charlton in the summer, but after some pre season promise, the 20 year olds Loftus Road career came to a sudden halt following a broken leg sustained in the friendly against Fulham.

Simon's comeback was complete as he appeared as a late sub in the 2-0 win away at Burnley. But, during his successful rehabilitation, the QPR management changed hands and he has been restricted to a handful of appearances since his return. 

Walton will be with the Tigers until the end of the season and is in line to make his debut against Coventry tonight (Tuesday).
