LFW's look back at the midweek action from the Coca Cola Championship, as well as a look ahead to this weekends matches.

The two rearranged Saturday games brought two home wins as Bristol City moved level with West Brom at the top, beating Blackpool 1-0. Burnley beat Scunthorpe 2-0 at Turf Moor. We can only hope that someone sees sense and rearranges some more fixtures, for those not fortunate enough to be in the FA Cup 5th Round on February 16th. This season has been quite ridiculous in respect of fans having to make long midweek journeys, which leads me nicely onto this weeks action...

Palace's unbeaten run came to an end at the Walkers Stadium in the live Sky match on Monday, as a Barry Hayles fluke in the last minute gave Leicester all three points.

It was very much a week for late goals as Wolves new signing, Ebanks-Blake scored in the final minute in the 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday at Molineux. Caleb Folan scored a last minute winner for Hull over inconsistant Coventry at the KC Stadium, in a game where R's loanee, Simon Walton made his debut for the Tigers.

Preston continued where they left off, following their excellent cup win over Derby - and beat leaders West Brom 2-1 at Deepdale in what was probably the result of the night. Norwich were the only away winners of the week as Man City loanee, Ched Evans scored the only goal of the game at St Marys.

Moving swiftly onto the weekends action and the early kick off comes from the Brittania Stadium. Fourth take on seventh as Stoke take on the in form Cardiff City in what looks like a very attractive fixture.

The evening live game is yet again, from Vicarage Road in a repeat of last Saturdays cup tie between Watford and Wolves. Mick McCarthy will no doubt be looking for a repeat of the visitors impressive 4-1 win.

Another very attractive looking fixture comes from the Hawthorns as leaders West Brom take on the in form Burnley. Burnley will be looking for their 4th win on the spin in the Championship and have this week, strengthened their attack by signing the experienced, Andy Cole from Sunderland on loan until the end of the season.

Norwich take on Preston at Carrow Road and both sides have found a bit of recent good form which should make for an interesting clash. QPR's clash with second place Bristol City is also one of the weekends stand out fixtures. The LFW preview will be on line towards the end of the week.
