Three Called up for England U21s Wednesday, 30th Apr 2008 16:12 Dexter Blackstock, Matthew Connolly and Michael Mancienne have all been called up to the England Under 21 squad. Rangers improved showings on the pitch have reaped their rewards, as the three Young R's are in Stuart Pearce's England Under 21 squad to play Wales in a friendly at the Racecourse Ground, on Thursday 15th May. Blackstock, Connolly and Mancienne's performances of late have been outstanding and have obviously caught the eye of National Coach, Steve Wigley, who was recently at Loftus Road for the home win over Charlton. Also, despite missing most of the season through injury, former R's loanee defender, Martin Cranie has also made a strong squad, which is listed below; Goalkeepers: Hart, Heaton, Lewis.
Defenders: Connolly, Cranie, Dann, Fox, Mancienne, Shawcross, Taylor, Wheater.
Midfielders: Cattermole, A Johnson, M Johnson, Kightly, Leadbitter, Muamba, Noble, O'Hara.
Forwards: Agbonlahor, Blackstock, Campbell, Walcott. Congratulations to all three of QPR's Young Lions!! Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
