Former R's - Kieran Lee Joins Oldham

LFW brings you news of four former R's players on the move during this close season.

Former R's loanee, Kieran Lee, has, with respect, surprisingly joined Oldham Athletic. The full back joins from Premier and Champions League double winners, Manchester United on a free transfer.

The highly rated Lee, joined the R's in December on a six month loan deal and made his debut in the FA Cup tie away at Chelsea. Despite a very promising debut, Lee was used sparingly by former R's boss Luigi De Canio, who stated on more than one occasion that he would like to sign the full back on a permanant basis. He made just 8 appearances in total for QPR, with just two starts.

Meanwhile, former R's striker, Shabazz Baidoo has been released by Dagenham and Redbridge. Baidoo left QPR last January, following a loan spell at Gillingham where he failed to make a single first team appearance. Dagenham claim that Baidoo never showed the form that they believed he was capable of and from being one of the hottest up and coming strikers, Baidoo is now looking for another club.

Marcus Bean has returned to London to join neighbours Brentford, following what was by all accounts, an unhappy time for the midfielder at Blackpool. Bean made 23 appearances for the Tangerines in all and felt that he never really got a fair crack of the whip at Bloomfield Road.

Finally, after just one year at Ninian Park, Trevor Sinclair has been released by this season's beaten Cup Finalists, Cardiff. The now 35 year old winger signed a one year rolling deal with the Bluebirds and Manager Dave Jones has decided not to extend it.

Was Keiran Lee worth signing on a permanant basis? Feel free to discuss on the Message Board
