Brian Power returns for a look ahead to the Birmingham match and value elsewhere in the market this weekend.

Good evening and welcome back. The good start made by both pundits has been undermined by two blank weeks, although QPR’s gross inconsistency and unpredictability certainly hasn’t aided our gamblers. Picking Ledesma as first goalscorer, as Mr Power did last week, relies on the right Ledesma turning up for the match and like a number of QPR players at the moment we can’t be sure of that or anything else. Still a blank week all the same so The Don enters the red by £50 for the first time, and Brian is down a tenner as well – he’s back this week to try and improve those fortunes as the R’s face a tough trip to Birmingham City.

Short but sweet this week due to the credit crunch. I almost picked up an injury when we were paired out with Man Utd in the cup and it now means trying to secure a day off to head up to Manchester . The last time I went up was the sixth round of the cup and I remember sitting watching the boxing at four in the morning in a hotel bar after a night on the tiles. Happy Days A close thing last time out with Luton letting us down and Young Mick coming second but we can hope for better things this week.
